That's how we'll fend off the global warming :P we'll inject massive amounts of dust in the stratosphere (or the higher layers of the atmosphere or whatever) and make sure that it'll stay there. ;)

The Little Ice Age began in the 1300s due to the cooling effect of massive volcanic eruptions, and was sustained by changes in Arctic ice cover, scientists conclude.
